WHY MCKINZIE LOVES TAY: "I love you because you are down to earth, write amazing songs that I can relate to, you are funny, comfortable with who you are, make the best videos for myspace they are so freaking funny, you are honest, and your toenail polish in the our song video was the coolest color ever haha".

NAME: Erica Morgan AGE: 17 STORY: "I had a tough time in school during 10th grade. The guys I liked never liked me back and I felt so different from everyone else. I felt as if I didn't have a place in the world, let alone the school. I wanted to be in Nashville living my dream, not just dreaming of it in a classroom while doing math work. Not only was I the only student in my class dreaming of being a country music recording artist, but I didn't party or drink which made me feel even more like an outsider. I remember going on Youtube and watching Taylor Swift perform for the first time. I had always loved her music but never knew she wrote all her songs and played guitar. All of the sudden, I felt like I wasn't the only one. I was able to relate to someone at last. Her songs just felt like they were songs written about my life. At that point, I knew I had to learn guitar. After seven years of my dad asking if he could teach me guitar, I finally said yes. I practiced each day for about six hours. I started writing all my own songs. Writing became my therapy for a broken heart, social issues, and just any other high school problem. I no longer felt like an outsider being that the country's top recording artist was going through the same thing. Taylor Swift will always be my inspiration. She changed my life."
