Taylor has brought many young fans to country music with her catchy lyrics and wholesome image. A sundress and cowboy make up her signature look. She is gracious and appreciative to her fans.
Her determination and intelagence is what brought her to the top. After an un-successful trip to Nashville when she was 11, Taylor returned home and realized she needed to find a way to stand out. She learned to play guitar and after she learned three chords she wrote her first song. Her hard work and determination payed off when her famiy moved to Nashville when she was fourteen. Taylor landed a writing contract and instead of going to after school activities she went and wrote songs with 40-year-olds. She was 15 during the day and 40 after school. This helped her develope her song writing skills. During the day she was a regular teenager experiencing the daily dramas of high school life and that is what she wrote about. She walked away from a major record deal because she wanted to record her own songs. Scott Borchetta discovered her in the Blue Bird Caffee and told her that he was starting a new label, Big Machine Records. Taylor took a chance with the new label and her first album was released in Orctober 2006. She has continued to work hard and gain fans loyalty by staying in touch with the through MySpace, signing line and meet&greets.
